Yesterday was Christian, today was Connor's day to have grandparents visit his pre school. As a bonus, Connor's grandparents from Texas came to town for a weekend visit and were able to share in the fun.
The first item on the agenda was a program by the 3 and 4 year olds, much singing and laughing.
At one point each child was given a microphone to say "My name is...and I love the Lord". I managed a 4 second video of Connor in a big deep voice.
Then came lunch with grandparents and kids, everyone filed downstairs.
As we entered the lunchroom we saw a nice greeting.
After lunch it was on to check out the classroom (s).
Outside Connor's door was his version of what makes his grandparents special.
We just had to laugh. Dogs and doughnuts and toy cars figure prominently. So true.
A little stage and God and kids at work. But what's on that big board at the back?
This is great, rules and manners for kids to learn. Click to enlarge if it's hard to read.
Connor showed off the class turtle.
In the aquarium to the left of the turtle is a snake which I wanted no part of, did not want to look at it or take a picture of it.
There's 3 of Connor's grandparents, the 4th is behind the camera.
Lastly was checking out the artwork.
Lots of energy among the preschoolers, the teachers noted that when the elders headed for home, it would be nap time! Yay nap time.

What I love Grand parent's day is the joy it gives to our grandparents. They are very important to our lives, they love us so we must take care of them.

Did they give away 'Jays' potato chips also? :-) or was 'Opa' carrying 'Oma's' lunch!

We brought the Jays, Pam and everyone wanted some.

Very cool pics. We had two little guys at Good Shepherd last week. Had to cut out early due to Pam's broken ankle and the pain she was experiencing, but still enjoyed the time.
Older one has his at Westminster in a couple of weeks.
Does that make me ecumenically diverse?

Looks more like age appropriate, Brad.
