Public salaries in the Metro East

The Belleville paper has published a data base which allows you to choose one city or school district in the metro east to see how much public employees are paid.  Problem is the clickable data box is very slow and awkward and the online story must be getting so many hits that the data is slow to load.

But if you're patient, it will eventually give you a list of salaries of all employees. Here is Collinsville's list

Frankly IMO the salaries are pretty average or below average, certainly few are getting rich.

Most of the salaries are above pay levels in the private sector, not average or below.
