Connor turned 4 on Valentine's Day, but we celebrated this morning with a party filled with 3 and 4 year olds from his pre-school class. The party was here on the seminary campus and included games, cake and a climb up Luther Tower.
Ferdie got to play.
And some of the parents did too.
Then we walked over to Luther Tower
Everyone walked in the door not knowing what to expect.
But first Dale had them come into his office.
And no, he did not pass out donor cards.
Then it was onto the big climb, up the narrow, curving stairs.
Cool. Ferdie led the way
At the halfway point everyone caught their breath.
Then it was out the glass door to the second set of narrow, curving stone, castle-like stairs.
But Ferdie could not go up to the bell level. He had to stay halfway.
When they got to the where the big bells hang, suddenly the sound of bells rang out. One by one a bell was gonged.
When they headed back down Ferdie was there to greet them with pins which said, "I climbed Luther Tower"
Here comes Connor's mom
After getting their pins, they headed back to ground level.
Everyone took a seat for cake!
Happy Birthday was sung and Connor blew out his candles.
Then free play! Boys were boys
And a few girls too.
Alrighty then
Then circle up, time to open presents
After everyone made their way home, we cleaned up the room and gave Connor the honors.
The end. Naps all around
