There was a GOP debate Saturday night. Really,? you ask. Yes. Anyway, the moderators were Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopolis which is rather like having Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter moderate a democratic debate.
In any event, Sawyer's questions got to be so out of touch with reality that some on Twitter began a separate column titled, #dianesawyerquestions and began submitting their own version of her questions.
Many were really funny and not so far off the mark.
"Do you know the Muffin Man?"
"Have any of you had Turducken for Thanksgiving."
"Truth or Dare. What's the worst thing you ever did?"
"Why does one park on driveways and drive on parkways?"
Really, Sawyer's questions were often just as banal, so were Stephanopolis'. You'd have thought the economy was bustling in overdrive and the unemployment rate was back down to 4.

Your observations on Diane Sawyer are quite on target. It's that stringing out of words and phrases for emphasis that gets to me. The banality of her questions is important, too.

Who is worse?
The moderators or the GOP candidates who agree to the moderators.

I agree with you, Diane. I have to give Newt credit for taking them to task about the attack on Christianity, that was a highlight of the evening for me...he shut them down on that tack.
