How fun is this? Chicken Footstools! A very popular booth, brought a lot of smiles.
The Art Fair has every conceivable type of art from pastels to ironwork to whimsy. The chickens fall into the whimsy category for sure.
Dale loves glass art, but we didn't buy any.
The booths are set up along 4 Forsyth cross streets and with 180 plus artists, there is a lot to look at.
Opening night began rather dreary and drizzly so the crowd was thin at the beginning but thickened as the rain moved out.

Wasn't sure just what this was, seems like you'd have to buy a lot of these to make a statement.
The booth also had giant jacks.
Our favorite artist, Kathleen Eaton from Chicago.
We did buy this one, it looks so much like parts of Chicago that our Chicago roots just screamed, "take this home".
Whoops. Not art, but kind of fun to see this out on the street.
One intersection had a fire juggler.
Lots of food booths from local restaurants on Brentwood.

Only Clayton would have Stella Artois as its official fest beer. The rest of us normally sell Bud, Coors and Miller.
If you have the chance to go, it's a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
