The president will be in Holland Michigan today speaking at a battery plant on the topic of how improving vehicle efficiency will improve the economy. He'll then head to NY for another fund raiser.
The story brought to mind the push for wind power turbines in Western Michigan along the coast of Lake Michigan. Many towns had homes and businesses with a sign in the yard promoting or opposing this new energy effort. More opposed than for, from what we observed through the signs.
One thing that would help to improve energy efficiency is to harness all the hot air coming from the President and release it this winter. Thousands and thousands of homes could be heated.
