According to an annual study by the Texas Transportation Institute and Texas A&M, Chicago and Washington DC are tied for the worst traffic congestion in the country, with drivers sitting in 70 delay hours per car per year.
St. Louis comes in at 21. Here's a picture of 170 and 64/40 I took yesterday from high up in the University Club tower.
Traffic not too bad, but it was 3:30 in the afternoon on a snowday which kept many off the road. This is normally a very congested area.
This was fun to see, though. We watched a small plow remove snow from the roof of a parking garage.
