Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will end the suspense over whether the waters off Cape Cod will be the home of a giant wind farm will end this week.
His yes or no decision will be announced and Salazar's verdict is fraught with politics. Many locally prominent politicos are/have been against it including the most famous, Ted Kennedy.
Others believe if Salazar says no to wind farms off Cape Cod, it would establish a precedent which would make it impossible to ever construct them anywhere on the east coast.
Get a front row seat for this one. Salazar is in a very hot seat. The old, damned if you do and damned if you don't, the kind of situation every politician dreads.
