I will be making every attempt to post results tonight as soon as they become available. I will post them on this post so if you're interested, scroll past anything I put up later today.
The best place to see results, at least so far, is the reporting by the Sun-Times.
Quinn seems to be winning the democratic governor's race while Andy McKenna has been holding a lead on the republican side.
Senate: Democrat Alexi Giannoulias is ahead while Mark Kirk leads republicans by the widest margin of any race. So far.
For Metro East voters, Jason Plummer is holding at second place behind Matt Murphey. These results do not include the southern end of the state.
In Madison County, republican Andy Andrzejewski is way ahead of the others. Dan Hynes is beating Pat Quinn down here for the democrat governor's spot.
Update: Almost 9 p.m. No change in the leaders for the races mentioned above.
The Metro East differs from upstate in their choice for republican governor-Andy Andrzejewski is holding a big lead down here while Andy McKenna is winning upstate with 48% counted.
Update Wednesday morning: Governor Quinn is holding onto a small lead with 99% of the votes counted.
In a race with local interest, Edwardsville's Jason Plummer has taken the lead in the Lt. Governor's race with 99% of the vote counted.
Republicans Bill Brady and Kirk Dillard are neck and neck in the governor's race with Brady holding a very small lead of a couple of hundred votes. Again, 99% of the vote has been counted.
