Head of CSPN, Brian Lamb, wrote to House leaders asking that his network be allowed to televise all the upcoming discussions, debates and negotiations over the health care bill.
"Now that the process moves to the critical stage of reconciliation between the Chambers, we respectfully request that you all the public full access, through television, to legislation that will affect the lives of every American."
Pelosi's answer was, "There has never been a more open process for any legislation in anyone who’s served here’s experience."
Huh?
I guess she doesn't want us to see.
Update: Watching the news video of Pelosi reponding to a reporter's question and comment that Obama promised during the campaign to televise all procedings on CSPAN, whoa. She really did a brush off of the president.
Obama/Pelosi/Reid ran on a promise of open government. Another promise broken.
