We haven't been to an actual theater to see a movie since one summer night in Traverse City when we went and saw Seabiscuit. 2003. And, we haven't had a working dvd player in years.
But for Christmas we received a Blu Ray dvd player and being more than out of the movie loop we need advice. Any ideas on movies to pick up and watch?
I'm so out of it, I'm thinking it might be fun to watch The Hotel for Dogs. Dale may not be quite as interested in that one. He's more a Bourne Identity or Private Ryan kind of guy.

You might want to see The Blind Side when it becomes available on DVD. Which should happen pretty soon. Both of you should enjoy it. It is a true story!

I second the recommendation of The Blind Side. Excellent movie! We, too, had not been to a movie in a while and thoroughly enjoyed this movie.

Hotel for Dogs is cute! The Hangover is really funny too, but probably not your type of movie. Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers are both good. Up was cute as well. Boondock Saints is another good one. Oh, and Gangs of New York.

I suggest Amazing Grace, which is about the author of that great hymn.

Two series I really enjoy are Night at the Museum 1 & 2 and National Treasure series.
