As many of you know, I've been reading Ann Althouse's blog for 5 years or so. Ann, a law professor at the University of Wisconsin, writes an eclectic blog, always interesting even on topics I could care less about (like American Idol).
The New York Times published a story yesterday describing her engagement and impending marriage to one of her long time commenters, Laurence Meade, a garden designer from Ohio.
This is quite the story in blog world.
From one who experienced very success (and short)online romance myself, congrat's Ann! May you be as happy as Bill and I.

Ann, You have been lucky to find a real gem in this man Laurence Meade. I was his sister's best friend in high school and spent many an over night in their home. Marquitta, his sister sent this aritcle to me and I am so happy for the two of you. I see his brother Les, all the time here in town. Marquitta and I just reconnected at our 40th reuion this summer. You love and take care of this guy, like I know he will with you.
