One man's 15 minutes of fame

Not exactly the way anyone would want to make the news.

On January 1, a skier at a Vail resort found himself on a chair lift which tossed him out of his chair, causing him to dangle in mid air upside down.  He hung in the air until rescuers could free him.

But that's not the worst part.  His pants stayed hooked on the lift so that he hung in the air, upside down...pants-less.

That's still not the worst part.  In this day of digital photography, everyone seems to carry a pocket camera, even when they ski.  So any number of other skiers took the time to photograph the poor guy hanging pants-less upside down.

And even worse, these pictures turned up on websites.
