Elizabeth Dole got beat. I think her charge that her opponent is “godless” because of one of her supporters killed it for her. The people of North Carolina can recognize someone who thinks they are stupid. I heard that she was only in her state for 16 days last year. She did little for her constituents. The definition of the Washington politician.

She has a well earned reputation of not being the nicest boss in the Senate...or the Red Cross. Heard a lot of war stories about her.

The 'godless' ad was probably the dumbest move by any politician this year. And then, instead of any sense of error, or of an apology, Dole ran a 2nd ad supporting the first. Hagan is a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church and a former Sunday School teacher.

Diane, you should be outraged at Dole's 'godless' attack on a fellow christian. The ad ended with a Hagan impersonator sayin "There is no god." Nasty, and voters were offended.
