World Series goes the limit

No, not 7 games, the two teams aren't at that point yet, but for pete's sake, last night's game lasted until quarter to two, eastern time.  Sure there was a rain delay, but still.  Unless you live in Philadelphia or Tampa, who saw the end?

Tonight's game begins at 8:35 eastern time.  Most people will have to get up for work or school tomorrow morning which means many will be turning off the game early.  Has Major League Baseball never heard of a twilight series game?  Especially on weekends?   And,  Fox will be pushing back another of the games this week in order to accept a million dollars from Barack Obama so that he can bore us all to death with a totally rehearsed 30 minute speech.  Who's going to watch that except extremely partisan voters who already plan to vote for him.

Does MLB have such an inferiority complex that they let the networks and the NFL dictate when they can televise their World Series?  It's the World Series!  Let us see the games.
