More P-D endorsements
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch continues their down ballot endorsements, this time showcasing their choice for Illinois and Missouri House and Senate.
My predictions as to who the paper would endorse are still perfect.
Most of their picks got at least a token explanation as to why they were chosen, but not the two House members from the Illinois side, Jerry Costello and John Shimkus. All the paper could find in itself to write was that their opponents haven't made a strong case for themselves.
Well, better than nothing.
And, Hey. I'm still batting a thousand.
I'd still waiting for someone to explain just why "it's for the good" that Russ Carnahan be re-elected. What exactly has he done for his district? Who ever sees him or even gets mail from him?

His mother was former US Senator, his deceased father was Governor, and his sister is Secretary of State.
He has great name ID, is a democrat and shows up at a lot of local ribbon cuttings.
That sounds like good reasons for the Post to endorse him.
