So the Obama campaign will be paying a bunch of TV networks big bucks to carry a 30 minute 'mega-ad'. One of the networks is Fox which is the home of the World Series. Fox has agreed to delay game six (if necessary) in order to carry this infomercial.
This means a World Series game which could well be the final game, must start even later than normal. These games already end too late for people who must get up early for work or school. Money talks, I guess, since anyone who really really wants to watch an infomercial could easily flip over to CBS or NBC. Take the money and shaft fans.
Of course, many national sports writers are already making jokes about the World Series being a major ratings bust because it won't feature the dream match-up of the Red Sox and Dodgers, so who cares if fans in Tampa Bay or Philly have to endure a long night.
On the other hand, unless you're so down with the flu that you're too weak to use the remote, who watches infomercials anyway? And this mega-ad will certainly be right up there with ads touting the Amazing De-flab-ulator.

Am so sure you would have written this same post if it was McCain with the money to run an ad. (NOT!) And we all know how much more important baseball is compared to the election of a president. Quit your whining. And comparing it (unseen) to infomercials? You're actually quite bitter, aren't you?

I probably would have. There is no need to mess with the World Series when other channels carry the commercial. And that is what is it, a politically polished infomercial.
Bitter? No.

Boy, I'm really going to take a person seriously who is willing to gripe and name-call while posting anonymously.

These anonymous posters who are on the Obama hit squad have appeared as the Presidential campaign enters the last few weeks.
When they don't have a rational comment, they resort to anme calling. Kind of like small chldren, when they get upset and through a tantrum.
