Self appointed Truth Squads in St. Louis

The St. Louis Circuit attorney, Jennifer Joyce and the St. Louis County prosecutor, Bob McColloch, have joined others in law enforcement including local sheriffs, as part of what they call the Barack Obama Truth Squad.  This squad will be making sure everyone knows that Barack Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for anyone making under $250,000 a year.  They will also respond immediately to any ads and statements that might violate Missouri ethics laws.

So.  Will they also be responding immediately to misleading and/or ads and statements coming from the  Obama campaign or his PAC's and directed at McCain?

In addition, the Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the campaign.

This is not the first time the Obama people have tried to stifle opponents.  It is getting to be a bad habit.  There is just one thing to say about this innocent victim routine and that is to take another look at the vile smears which were and continue to be, directed at Sarah Palin and her family.  Like her as a VP candidate or not, what she and her family have been put through leads directly to Obama supporters.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander.  Or, if Obama doesn't like critical ads, he needs to be sure his own house is in order before calling out law enforcement on the other guy.

I'm not sure why we're not hearing more about this here in St. Louis, but it doesn't sound like change you can believe in.
