Updated: It now looks as though Obama will be introducing his VP choice at the Old State Capitol in Springfield on Saturday.
So many choices for Barack Obama. All the pundits are weighing in with their expert opinions on the best choice. Joe Biden is probably the pundits number 1. Evan Bayh is right up there as is Tim Kaine of Virginia, Kathleen Sibelius of Kansas, of course Hillary Clinton. Will it be one of the above or a surprise?
One thing is known now. It won't be today. It most likely won't be on that vacuum of a news day, Friday. So that leaves tomorrow. Why do all the political commenters think it will be, should be, Biden? The gravitas Obama doesn't have?
It probably won't be a woman either, Clinton excepted. No way at all. So what's the matter with Kansas?
Wonkette had the funniest line on this business today. "Barack Obama picks Walter Mondale for Veep." There goes Minnesota. heh.
