What makes Europeans unhappy

In a story relating Barack Obama's speech in Berlin yesterday, the New York Times mentioned a few things that have made Europeans unhappy one of which was this:

"The Europeans do not like the chlorine bath Americans use to disinfect their chickens, an argument that is less about safety than about taste."

This chicken unhappiness lead to a European ban on American poultry which has resulted in a $200 million loss to American farmers.

We bathe our chickens in Chlorine?
