Again conflicting polls
All last night cable news shows carried stories on how close today's primaries in North Carolina and Indiana have become. Clinton supposedly had closed the once big Obama lead in NC and was ahead in Indiana.
Today the Drudge Report signals that the NC numbers may have been very wrong as he writes that the Clinton camp may be looking at a loss of at least 15 points.
As always we'll see when the votes are reported during the evening, but this constant dueling by pollsters to predict outcomes and demographics is dizzying.
The funniest campaign report of last night came from the Daily Show in a feature called "Panderer's Box". Video showing Clinton speaking about auto racing in some strange country accent was a perfect fit for a Panderer's Box.

I'm an accountant, a numbers man, and have followed polling on an amateurs level. Really disappointed in how all these polls contradict each other rendering them useless.

And yet the pundits keep reporting them and analyzing them. Everyone is obsessed with wanting to know what will happen before it happens.

I used to pay close attention; now I just pass them by- maybe read the headline.
