Are you warm or cold toward the candidates?

The Gallup Polling group is pulling out all the stops.  This campaign has gone on so long and has so many candidates that Gallup is being forced to make new polls up.  This time we see the presidential hopefuls ranked by a "Feeling Thermometer".  Were the respondents to this poll feeling warm or cold?

All the data is here, there are too many graphs to reproduce, but what's mind boggling is the high percentage of people taking the poll who answered "never heard of" in response to Thompson, Biden, Romney, Richardson, Huckabee, and Brownback.  Are these people living in a media free zone?

Also Romney's "feelings thermometer" have people giving him 27 warm and 31 cold.  That may surprise those who believe he is the front runner, but it pretty much sums up my feelings toward him.  A too slick, too scripted, too phony-seeming guy.

The fact that Rudy G can elicit warm feelings from 50% of those polled makes you wonder if they're at all aware of his personal history. Sorry folks, I don't get all warm and fuzzy about a guy whose ego is such that he reserves the right to dump any wife or family he has whenever his unit is excited by the sight of a new conquest.

My 'feelings' is that despite the larger than usual number of candidates, we have a very poor pool to choose from. All are up for sale to the people with the big bucks. They behave as though they not need give a REAL account to the likes of me; not one chit.
