White House stem cell veto

Yesterday the MAtH (man about the house) attended the remarks by President Bush regarding his veto of the stem cell bill.  The invitations to this gathering in the White House were sent about a week ago and Dale arranged to attend.  Anytime you get into a special function at the White House it is a thrill and this was no different.  As they waited to be allowed into the East Room (I think) they waited in the company of a string quartet which played for them.

He took some photos with his cell phone, not as good as a camera, but he didn't think they'd be allowed cameras so did not have one along.  As it turned out, and as I saw from watching on TV, a lot of cameras were going off.  The Post-Dispatch has a story on this today which mentions Dale and 2 others from the Missouri Synod Lutheran church body who had been invited, Rev Matt Harrison or Lutheran World Relief and Human Care and Maggie Karner Director of Lutheran Life Ministries.

Just plain "Way Cool!".

After seeing Dale's camera shot-and your comment- it was easy to find him in the White House video of the event. He 'just makes it into the video' as the President walks into the room. Pretty cool
