Headlines

I am on a whole house search today.  A Wizbang photo yesterday reminded me that many years ago we squirreled away the front section of the newspaper carrying the healine:  NIXON RESIGNS and I want to find it.  Somehow today's headlines about Mark Felt's decision to admit he was 'deep throat' don't carry quite the same panache when it comes to saving newspaper stories.  The video and still pictures of Felt show a man smiling a smile that seems out of kilter to his past actions and it also appears that the family is taking just a little too much joy in their 15 minutes of fame.  My eyes were drawn away from Mark Felt last night and focused on the bobbing heads of his family as they tried to get into the picture.  They too were smiling broadly, joyfully, as if this was a story about lottery winners.  The contrast between then and now is everything.
