University of Illinois basketball is all the rage around here. Even the St. Louis sportscasters have taken the Illini as their own, having pretty much given up on Missou after the Paige Arena snafu and the hapless pitiful play by the Tigers this year. For the past few days the talk has been that tonight's game against Wisconsin would really be something and it would be a game in which Illinois could very possibly see their first loss of the season. Wisconsin, ranked 19th and holding on to a 38 game winning streak on their home floor, was thought to be the team to knock off the home boys. Well, it didn't happen, Illinois won the game, but it was close until the last couple of minutes when the Badgers had to start fouling.
Watching the game gave me something of an adrenaline rush and not being overly sleepy, on a whim I decided to read around the blog world for a bit and came across this chart on the Dummocrats site comparing Wisconsin and Illinois. Nice bit of workmanship, I like the chart itself, very readable and actually pretty funny. But hey, Wisconsin guys, there's more to Illinois than Chicago. Right Stephen?

I'm thinking we need to re-write that Dummocrat's comparison. They sure missed out on a lot of important stuff about our fair state.
